My son loves going to this school. Master Manny, Coach Martha, Coach Cristian and really all of the coaches/staff are pretty amazing. They are very structured and promote discipline but at the same time you can tell that they value making a connection with each of their students. I’m excited for my son to continue learning in this martial arts school and strongly recommend it. :)

Galvan’s Martial Arts provides a well rounded martial arts education. The things I love as a parent is that they teach respect, discipline & self defense.

This dojo is the best one I have ever had the privilege of training at. Master Manny will push you. He sees your potential and will try to increase it exponentially. The family environment that exists at this dojo is awesome. The fellow students feel like brothers and sisters to me and helped push me when I didn't think I could. If you want a sensei that is going to sugar coat everything this is not your sensei. If you want a sensei that wants perfection and will not hesitate to push you Master Manny is the Sensei for you! I definitely recommend him if you are looking for a dojo to train in!

Galvan's Martial Arts is the best school in town!!

Martial arts has given my girls the opportunity to learn self defense and confidence. I love the anti bullying classes the kiddos receive when the school year starts. Master Galvan and Ms Martha always give their best to motivate the kiddos to do well. Thank you to all the professors that take their time and are always so patient with the student.

I am 34 years old and had never been an athlete or kickboxer, so while the classes were tough the instructors understood and worked with me! Very clear instruction, and lots of experience and knowledge was on display in the classes. School was exceptionally clean, and all of the students were respectful and hard at work each class.

My boys have attended GMA going on several years now. They have grown in so many aspects of life by going to TKD 2-3 times a week with the most important being respect, confidence, and the removal of fears. Before we enrolled our youngest boy into Galvan’s Martial Arts, he did not know a way to defend himself and because of that he was less confident in himself. But with the help of Galvan’s, he now has a way to defend himself from threats and is a lot more confident in himself than he was before. Galvan’s is the right direction for anybody as they are learning from the best.

Extremely good hygiene! Alot of cleaning and precautions and loved the area to roll!!

I have two little girls that have been training since they were 4 years old and in a world that can be mean, cruel and violent, it comforts me to know that both of my baby girls will know how to defend themself when i am not their to do so. I would not trust any marital arts school other than Galvan’s Martial Arts and their instructor’s My girls currently study Taekwondo and Brazilian jujitsu

I don't recomend it; for us it was just a waste of time and money. If you plan to enroll your kids I suggest you first visit the place on the time your kid is supposed to assist at least two times. Instrucctor talks to much of his life experience instead of teaching and teaches different topics to a separate group and not the whole class.

I am truly blessed to have found such great instructors. My son is very shy & mildly autistic, the instructors took the time to gain his trust and help him start participating. They make sure all children are involved and enjoying the class!! Awesome choice!

GMA is the best martial art school in Brownsville Texas. The maters and other instructors are motivating and yet firm. GMA will provide discipline with fun. My two boys have gained confidence, focus, athleticism, and discipline thanks to GMA.

We have been with Galvan's Martial Arts for about 12 yrs. My kids love it. They have learned a lot in all areas of martial arts as well as discipline, respect and follow instructions. We would not change nor leave Galvan's.

Wonderful instructors! My daughter is a current student, and we could not have found a better school. Not only do they teach them discipline, and respect, they also care for the children as individuals. The instructions are extremely knowledgeable and have a lot of patience with little ones. I love that they have extra events so the children can socialize and get to know each other outside of just class, and its always fun for my daughter to have a movie night or a picnic with the classmates she sees every day- she loves it so much, we go mon-sat! I love that shes learning BJJ and TKD at the same time. she currently holds 2 different belts, and I hope she continues to excel with the wonderful instructors at GMA! They truly do treat you like family!

Our family has trained at Galvan's Martial Arts for over six years now. My wife first started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and she enjoyed it so much she eventually convinced me to join also. All three of our children train in Mixed Martial Arts. The instructors here are the best - they are incredibly knowledgeable about the world of martial arts, they have tremendous amounts of experience and training and they are also excellent teachers. The TEAM attitude here is awesome as well. Attending class is always a highlight for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone, whether you have an interest but have never tried martial arts training or if you have years of training elsewhere - this is the place to train!
