No. Beginner classes run every week in both jiu-jitsu and kickboxing, and children start with no experience at all. New students begin with 30 days free.
How old do children need to be?
The youngest age Galvan’s Martial Arts accepts is 6. Children’s classes run at 5pm and 6pm every weekday, covering Tae Kwon Do, jiu-jitsu and MMA.
What does the free month include?
New students get a free month of beginners classes, a tour and consultation, a private lesson, online access to classes through GMA Coach, and a uniform.
Do you teach in Spanish?
Yes. Every instructor at Galvan’s Martial Arts speaks fluent Spanish, so classes and enquiries can be handled in either language.
How far do students travel to train here?
Students come from across the Rio Grande Valley. The school is in Brownsville, in front of Sunrise Mall, and some students travel from as far as McAllen.
